Description
Imagined by the designer Giampiero Tagliaferri for Minotti, the Orion sofa seduces with its sculptural elegance and architectural approach to comfort. Its generous volumes, punctuated by unexpected geometric cuts, compose a dynamic silhouette inspired by abstract constellations. Designed as a modular system, the Orion sofa combines various rectangular, square or trapezoidal elements to create scalable configurations suitable for contemporary spaces. The generous seats, highlighted by visible seams and quilted stitching, reinforce the comfort and graphic character of the whole. The backrest, worked with double tone-on-tone seams and a wallet fold, brings depth and refinement to the composition. The set is based on a perimeter frame with rounded corners, available in chrome finish, Black Coffee or dressed in leather, while the slightly recessed base accentuates the impression of lightness. Through this creation, Giampiero Tagliaferri imagines for Minotti a sofa where architecture, craftsmanship and contemporary design interact with fluidity and sophistication.
