Easy chair ORION MINOTTI

Sculptural and bold, the Orion armchair by Giampiero Tagliaferri for Minotti combines generous volumes and architectural lines in a composition with an assertive character. Geometric cuts and overlapping shapes create a dynamic silhouette that occupies the space with elegance and fluidity. Inspired by abstract compositions evoking constellations, the project plays on the balance between orthogonal lines and inclined surfaces. This formal research gives rise to a Orion contemporary armchair designed to offer generous comfort while maintaining great visual lightness. The Orion armchair stands out for its generous seat cushions highlighted by inward-converging seams and a quilted finish that reinforces the graphic identity of the piece. The backrest, decorated with double tone-on-tone stitching in the shape of an envelope, extends this refined and sophisticated aesthetic. Inspired by the architectural research of John Lautner, the structure is based on a perimeter frame with rounded corners available in chromed metal, Black Coffee finish or dressed in leather. Its slightly recessed base gives the chair a floating impression and accentuates its airy look. Through every detail, seams, profiles and assemblies, Minotti expresses with Giampiero Tagliaferri a vision of design where furniture, architecture and graphics interact in a contemporary, elegant and perfectly balanced aesthetic.
