Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, Freeman is a seating system that reinvents the concept of the living room with its distinct aesthetic character, elegant proportions and unparalleled comfort. Freeman contains a dual identity: the Freeman "Duvet" sofa stands out for its soft, enveloping, reassuring lines and extra-soft cushions, designed to offer the experience of a warm welcome and great relaxation.While referencing tradition, the construction details evoke an ideal of modern classicism. The Freeman "Tailor" model displays a different personality, with more defined volumes and one-piece seats designed by quilting that accentuates its graphic character and contemporary spirit. The combination of the two models makes it possible to create dynamic personalised configurations. Both elegant and informal, the Freeman seating system becomes the centrepiece of the living room, in which to enjoy privacy or entertain friends.Thanks to Minotti's expertise, Freeman reveals a workmanship that is both complex and sophisticated.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
