Designed by Marcio Kogan / studio mk27 for Minotti, the Horizonte sofa system is like a floating island with square lines marking the horizon of the living space. Horizonte takes shape from a suspended base, a line, fine and solid, covered in leather, fabric or both coverings at once, on which rest generously proportioned upholstery.
Horizonte is the result of a clear architectural vision: a determined line, raised seven centimetres off the ground thanks to a metal plinth painted matt black, which gives the sofa a distinctive suspended feel. A platform on which to place the upholstered elements - seats, backrests and armrests - all designed as large cushions with distinctive proportions and a strong personality.
It's not just the size of these modules that sets them apart, but also their unusual softness, capable of maintaining a precise formal aesthetic despite their welcoming immersion. Comfort is guaranteed by an innovative technology that uses pocket springs embedded in variable-density polyurethane to retain shape memory and return the seat to its initial position, moulding itself to the person sitting in it.
