Designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan / studio mk27, Minotti's Superquadra furniture range takes its name from a pilot project conceived by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer in 1956 for the residential district of Brasilia, structured according to a basic housing module scheme.
The square volumes of these famous buildings suspended on stilts are reinterpreted in Minotti's Superquadra series in the form of storage units, benches, small tables, consoles and tables.
The ethereal volume of the Superquadra table is reflected in the essential graphic lines of the series of small tables, benches and consoles of the same name. The elements rest on a base with protruding legs made of glossy Brandy-painted aluminium, which gives the products a great aesthetic lightness.
Minotti Superquadra coffee tables can be finished with either a Calacatta or Sahara Noir marble top painted with matt polyester - both obtained using a folding technique - or in Santos rosewood stained Dark Brown with a matt polyester lacquer finish with a single slab or with a top in Canaletto walnut slats stained Dark Brown.
