The
VL45 Radiohus Pendant Pale Rose is a re-edition of a luminaire designed by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in collaboration with
Louis Poulsen. The
suspension VL45 Radiohus was specifically created for the Radio House in Copenhagen, also known as Radiohuset, in the 1940s. The
suspension VL45 faithfully retains the original design, with a brass support and a lampshade composed of three layers of blown glass. The outer and inner layers are made of transparent polished glass, while the middle layer is made of pink glass, giving the suspension its characteristic pale pink hue. This choice of materials diffuses a soft, even light throughout the space. The
VL45 Radiohus Pendant Pale Rose is available in two sizes: 17 cm and 25 cm in diameter, offering different options to suit the lighting needs and dimensions of the space. This reissue is an opportunity to rediscover and appreciate the timeless design of this iconic suspension lamp.
