Description
With the Suspension range, the GamFratesi studio wanted to visually translate movement into physical form. The small spike at the top of the pendant shows the physical force used to create the lamp and the stretching that the object has undergone. Suspence is a pendant lamp with organic shapes, with a soft and natural curve, perfectly suiting into any environment. A diffuser at the bottom of the lamp concentrates the light, preventing glare. In addition to providing perfect lighting, Suspence enriches the room with a touch of elegance.

GAMFRATESI
The GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. GamFratesi is part of the latest generation of furniture designers, and together they represent a new interpretation of Danish and international design. GamFratesi's designs draw their creative impetus from the fusion of tradition and renewal, as well as from an experimental approach to materials and techniques. With their respective cultures, they draw their inspiration from Danish furniture and Scandinavian craft traditions, but also from Italy's timeless conceptual and intellectual approach. Thanks to this multi-cultural partnership, GamFratesi creates furniture pieces that reflect tradition while presenting unique stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist style. The GamFratesi duo works with some of the biggest names in design, including Gubi, with the Bat collection and the now famous Beetle chair, Hay, with the Silhouette sofa, and also Minotti, Dedon and Fontana Arte.

Founded in 1872 in Denmark by the Danish carpenter Fritz Hansen, the brand of Scandinavian furniture Fritz Hansen produces designer furniture, contemporary chairs, iconic armchairs, dining tables and designer lighting that are now international benchmarks. He and his son established the quality standards that still apply at Fritz Hansen today. As in 1872, Fritz Hansen’s work remains guided by the philosophy that a single well-designed piece of furniture can transform a room and enhance the well-being of its owners
