The rectangular tabletop slides to allow the two carefully concealed extensions to be inserted in place, offering options for six, eight or ten guests. The S-Table from Gubi has clean, simple lines, elegant tapered legs, frame strength and precise craftsmanship give it timeless quality and uncompromising functionality. The S-Extendable Tablefrom Gubi was designed in 1951 by Gascoin for the living quarters of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in France. Its ingenious flexibility and understated elegance made it popular at the time, and are just as relevant today.
