Description
A nod to the style of the fifties, the Russell family of seating, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, is available in a wide variety of styles: a wrap-around armchair, elegant lounge and dining room armchairs, a “bergère” armchair, a soft contour sofa and a footstool. The shape of the Russell collection takes vintage lines and updates them with extremely sophisticated finishes, such as that of the cushions and backrest, covered with fabric or leather for an elegant dialogue between textures. The fixed base is surprisingly cross-shaped in Light Bronze metal with legs covered in Moka oak wood. A detail in Russell's work that reflects Minotti's virtuosity in combining diverse materials, worked with the expertise inherited from the company's artisan tradition.Russell chairs will fit perfectly in a home and will be perfect for a professional environment looking for a touch of authenticity.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
