Description
Powell, or the quintessential contemporary sofa according to Minotti: welcoming, refined and at the same time informal.This seating system includes fixed and section seats, designed to satisfy a natural desire for relaxation. The subtle balance of proportions, the exercise in haute couture, every detail of Powell can be related to this style that now belongs to the identity of the Minotti brand. The aluminium base is a remarkable detail, especially as it is painted in a selection of exclusive colours – Sand, Celadon, Plum, Granite or Pewter – which open up possibilities for original colour associations with the chosen upholstery fabric. The sofa appears slightly raised from the ground, almost suspended. The relaxed elegance of the Powell project is expressed in the simplicity of its lines and exalted in its meticulous tailoring, using goose feather upholstery for both the unique seat cushion and those of the backrest, with a result of great comfort that will accommodate any type of interior.

Rodolfo DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni is a major figure in Italian design. After graduating in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979, he set up Dordoni Architects Studio and went on to work with major furniture brands such as Foscarini, Cappellini and Artemide, where he was artistic director, as well as Flos, Moroso, Cassina and, more recently, Coédition. He has also worked closely with Minotti since 1997. Its timeless, modern designs combine aesthetics and comfort. The lines are sober, minimalist and extremely distinctive. The roots of the collaboration between Minotti and Rodolfo Dordoni are long-standing and solid, because the same values are shared by the company and the designer. The designer's inspirations and thoughts come to life, and particular attention is paid to the details, finishes and materials that reveal the unique character of Minotti collections.
