Outline is a sofa with generous proportions, contrasting with a delicate and sophisticated appearance. The slim frame and armrests and thin back cushions maximise the available seating space while providing ultimate comfort. Muuto has here the will to mix useful and functional. The Outline sofa reveals an almost architectural presence in the contemporary interior. The slender, discreet lacquered metal legs are nestled under the frame, contributing to the sofa's light look. For Outline, the Anderssen & Voll studio has made no visual or functional compromises. Indeed, the Outline sofa has a deep, comfortable seat, as well as extreme visual lightness. Its textile or leather finishes make the Outline sofa, an exceptional sofa with a rectangular design. The sharply drawn contours, allowing a departure from the classic lines of Scandinavian sofas from the 60s, make the Outline sofa original. Its refined, architectural lines, inspired by Scandinavian influences, create a sofa that's welcoming, modern, delicate, sophisticated and timeless. The clean lines highlight the quality of the top-of-the-range leather, signed by the famous Camo house. The full-grain aniline leather is soft and pleasant to the touch, and comfortable to wear. What's more, its top-quality padding provides a soft seat. Its solid structure is made from powder-coated aluminium. The seat, backrest and armrests can also be upholstered in high-quality fabric. Thanks to its understated charm, the Outline sofa by Muuto fits into any interior, whether in the middle of the living room or against a wall, in a contemporary or industrial style. This sofa is available as a 2 or 3-seater.

Founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design studio based in Oslo. The duo, who were previously partners in the Norway Says group, work in a variety of design fields but concentrate on domestic objects. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received international awards for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. In their view, a good product builds on and extends tradition while simultaneously breaking with the rules of that tradition. Their iconic creations include the Outline seating series, the Oslo lounge chair, the Elephant table and the unique Ildhane candlestick. Their many collaborations with famous publishers such as Lapalma, Muuto, Hay and AndTraditon have contributed to their reputation.
