India Mahdavi has designed Loop, a collection of chairs, lounge chairs and benches that has the charm of a freehand drawing and benefits from the ancestral craftsmanship of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna. The common thread running through the Loop collection materialises the structure in space and wraps around itself before continuing on its way, leaving two curved ‘loops’ in its wake. Its seductive loops push the boundaries of what is possible: India asks the wood to redouble its efforts to amplify its beauty and roundness. With its striking design and high-quality finishes, the Loop Lounge chair brings a sculptural touch to the living room.
