The configuration C of the HiLo sofa created by Anderssen & Voll for &Tradition demonstrates the modular nature of the collection. Designed to adapt to a variety of spaces, it combines multiple elements to form a generous, flowing composition made to comfortably accommodate several people. Its corner arrangement encourages interaction and turns the space into a welcoming meeting point. The generous cushions and continuous lines enhance the impression of harmony and ease, while the refined finishes highlight the attention to detail. ANDERSSEN & VOLL
Founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design studio based in Oslo. The duo, who were previously partners in the Norway Says group, work in a variety of design fields but concentrate on domestic objects. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received international awards for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. In their view, a good product builds on and extends tradition while simultaneously breaking with the rules of that tradition. Their iconic creations include the Outline seating series, the Oslo lounge chair, the Elephant table and the unique Ildhane candlestick. Their many collaborations with famous publishers such as Lapalma, Muuto, Hay and AndTraditon have contributed to their reputation.
