The Chemney sofais one of two sofa models offered by Danish brand Vipp. The Chemney 3-seater sofa has a rounded, compact design with a wood and steel structure carried by a slim metal base. The Soprano fabric gives the sofa a top-of-the-range, highly tactile finish.

VIPP
The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
