Description

The Balloon pendant lamp from Bolia wraps light in an elegant, sheer fabric that gives the piece a playful, airy character. Designed by German designer Meike Harde, Balloon cloud reflects light gracefully, in an almost hypnotic way. Delicate hand-sewn details run along the ecru fabric shade, made of nylon 74% and elastane 26%, a finish that calls for a singular technique and a particularly steady hand. The Balloon pendant takes an E27 bulb (not included) and can be dimmed if both the bulb and your electrical system allow it; its textile cord can be shortened. Made in China, it reflects the Bolia belief that function and aesthetics form a single whole.
