Description

Created by German designer Meike Harde, the Knit collection of table and pendant lamps is published by Vibia. These luminaires are a synthesis of light and matter. On the very discreet structure of the Knit lampshade is stretched a lycra fabric, the mesh of which releases the light from the diffuser. This cleverly thought-out intertwining produces a very soft, warm light emission that perfectly complements the round shape of the luminaire. Knit offers a contemporary take on the traditional lampshade through an interplay of form and materials, with the luminaire retaining all its character and wholeness whether switched on or off. As practical as they are functional, Knit lamps find their place in any space, and soften the mood of any room. The Knit collection is available in table lamp and pendant versions.
