La Villa des Vignes: 1,041 m² of hotel furniture in Saint-Émilion

A hotel envisioned as a wine estate residence.

At 88 route de Villemaurine, on the hills above Saint-Émilion, La Villa des Vignes opens its doors at the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site. More than a hotel, the place has been conceived as a wine estate residence open onto its landscape, where architecture, light and furniture extend one another to tell the story of the surrounding vineyard.

Distinguished at the Porcelanosa International Project Awards 2026, this 1,041 m² establishment is intended as a place of stay, welcome and contemplation, designed so that every view from within turns towards the vines.

An architecture that embraces the landscape

Conceived by BPM Architectes, the project unfolds as a succession of spaces where past and present respond to one another. The historic building, built from golden Saint-Émilion stone, with its pale shutters and wrought-iron balcony, converses with a glazed extension of contemporary lines, opening widely onto the rows of vines. Limestone, pale wood and black metal make up a restrained palette, true to the spirit of the Libournais, while each space, the reception lounge, the indoor pool, the terraces, the bedrooms, develops its own atmosphere while remaining part of a single narrative. The project rests on a simple intuition: to let the vineyard guide every architectural intention.

Furniture specification in service of the architectural vision

Silvera accompanied this project through a furniture specification mission conceived as the natural extension of the intention carried by BPM Architectes. The challenge lay in furnishing spaces with multiple uses, reception, relaxation, dining, bedrooms, while preserving a unity of tone true to the spirit of a contemporary wine estate.

Behind every piece selected lies painstaking sourcing work: exploring collections, comparing finishes, studying materials, adjusting proportions to volumes that are by turns historic and contemporary. Finding the right balance between comfort, restraint and materiality.

A selection conceived for every space

In the reception areas, the Jane and Grace armchairs by Poliform unfold their enveloping silhouette, gathering the living spaces around coffee tables or dining tables with graphic lines. The Concorde desk, also by Poliform, brings its structured line to the project as a whole. And Tradition completes this ensemble with the Rely chair, its pared-back line echoed as far as the bedrooms, set opposite a solid wood desk. The Elefy armchair, also by And Tradition, rounds out this selection with its understated elegance. Facing the indoor pool, Kettal'sVia sun loungers line up in the natural light, while on the terrace, Expormim'sNido range punctuates the seating areas facing the vines with its enveloping silhouette, at once comfortable and light.

Signature Silvera

La Villa des Vignes illustrates what furniture specification can bring to a hotel project rooted in its territory. Conceived in dialogue with the architectural intention, furniture becomes a language in its own right: it connects spaces, accompanies uses and gives concrete materiality to a landscape.

Through this project, distinguished at the Porcelanosa International Project Awards 2026, Silvera reaffirms its conviction: furniture is not limited to furnishing a place, it plays a full part in its identity and in the way it is experienced.
