Silvera Gribeauval has made way for the Italian brand Baxter, which is opening its first French flagship store in the heart of Paris. This space goes beyond the concept of a showroom: it is a home to be explored at a leisurely pace, where every room embodies the Baxter brand identity. Spanning three floors, the gallery takes visitors on a journey through materials, design and atmospheres. More than just a series of exhibition spaces, it is a journey where architecture, interior design and collections interact naturally.

On display at the Saint-Germain showroom is a collaboration between Fornasetti and the contemporary rug manufacturer cc-tapis, which reinterprets a selection of iconic patterns from the Fornasetti archives in the form of rugs and tapestries. The project blends art, irony and artisanal craftsmanship, transforming each piece into a sort of ‘scene’ suspended between fiction and function, where trompe-l’œil, fragmentation and graphic details intermingle with refined textures.

Zanotta is opening its Paris showroom during Paris Design Week and presenting a two-level exhibition guided by the iconic chequerboard pattern of the Quaderna collection. This exhibition marks a significant milestone for the brand, which is showcasing works by Carlo Mollino following the acquisition of an exclusive licence from the Italian government to produce thirty of his designs. The Vertebra table, unveiled during Milan Design Week, takes centre stage, alongside pieces already in the collection such as the Fenis chair, the Gilda CM armchair and the Milo CM mirror, now also available in an XL version. The exhibition also showcases new additions and developments to the brand’s flagship collections, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, Palomba Serafin, Monica Armani, Studiopepe and Zaven.

For Knoll, the artist and sculptor Dozie Kanu has created his first collection of tables (a console table, coffee table and side table), which can be viewed at the Silvera Bac showroom. He reimagines an object that is usually static by infusing it with movement: the rigour of the steel frame contrasts with the softness of the stretched leather and the sensual fringes, which come to life at the slightest touch.

Get a sneak preview at Silvera Bac of ‘Orion’, the new seating system designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri for the Italian brand Minotti. Conceived as a play on constellations and micro-architectures, it creates, through its geometric modules and suspended forms, an interior landscape of great elegance.

Ferreira de Sá presents The Disquiet Collection, inspired by Fernando Pessoa’s *Book of Disquiet*. Thirteen designs draw on the full range of the Portuguese brand’s craftsmanship (tufting, flat weaving, hand weaving, Portuguese hand-knotting), with irregularity as the defining principle: a grid that tightens or loosens, a colour that shifts from one piece to the next, a deliberately unfinished edge, reflecting that state of mind suspended between calm and upheaval which gave the collection its name.
