Description

For the fifth anniversary of Valerie Objects, Muller Van Severen is surprising the world with a creation we thought would never leave their workshop: the Wooden Tables collection of wooden furniture. It's no secret that the two Dutch designers have always put wood to one side, giving pride of place to other, less familiar materials such as polyethylene, enamel and lacquer. The new Wooden Tables are a nod to the refectory tables of the 90s, still visible in schools. The frame and legs of each Wooden Table are made from rounded steel tubing, and the top from oak wood. Three different shapes are available: a simple round with two templates, a rectangular refectory and a straight version with rounded corners.
