The original base of the
Scala table by
Normann Copenhagen is made up of four columns which, depending on the angle from which you look at them, give off a different expression. The base is made of durable solid steel, while the round top is made of oak. It's a tribute to the fundamental place of the column in construction that designer Simon Legald has chosen to showcase this element with
Scala, a streamlined table that's also particularly stable. The circular shape of the
Scala table makes it particularly versatile making it the focal point of the space where it is placed, whether at home, in a restaurant or in a meeting room.
