Designed to seat eight, the CabinVipp rectangular table features a heavy limestone top sourced from Burgundy, France. The stone top of the Cabin rectangular table by Vipp is supported by two parallel legs in solid dark oak carved with vertical ribs. Marble and limestone bear the marks of thousands of years of natural transformation. Fossils and other organic matter have left their mark on these stones, punctuating them with a wide range of hues and veining, giving them their distinctive character. The top of the Cabin table by Vipp in solid stone has a silky smooth feel, provided by the soft brush technique that protects the natural structure of the stone.

The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
