Description

Ocean is a collection of outdoor furniture originally designed in 1955 by the famous Danish couple, Nanna & Joergen Ditzel. Reissued by Mater, this collection is now made using plastic waste from Carlsberg beer kegs.  The Ocean OC2 collection features a lightweight structure of repeating slats and a metal base, designed and tested for outdoor use. This design represents innovative and sustainable thinking, and supports many of the United Nations' sustainable development goals. The Ocean OC2 collection includes a chair, bench, lounge chair, coffee table and two dining tables. All the pieces in the Ocean collection can be completely dismantled, allowing each component to be recycled in new production circles.  Variations in finish are possible, due to the use of recycled materials.
