The NomNom suspension lamp by Odin Visser edited by MOOOI, is a thoroughly modern lighting design. This modestly sized luminaire perfectly encapsulates the art of omission, a minimalism that reinforces its unique character.
The opaque, spherical diffuser of NameName is held in balance between two thin, almost invisible metal rods, giving the airy sensation that the light source is suspended in a vacuum.
As a stand-alone luminaire, there's no getting around the playful elegance of the NomNom suspension, but its effect is multiplied when accompanied by other lamps, in a bouquet or lined up.

Marcel Wanders became known within the renowned group of designers, Droog Design. In 2001, he founded the company Moooi, which means "beautiful" in Dutch. The Moooi collection features fanciful and offbeat style, which is sometimes even provocative, and as such produces extraordinary, head-turning pieces. From the Little Bold candlestick to the Chess coffee table, the avant-garde design surprises and the industrial objects fuse reverie with the unusual. Marcel Wanders also collaborates with internationally-renowned designers such as Ross Lovegrove, Studio Job and Ron Gilad.
