The suspension Bollicosasigned Cassina perpetuates the glassmaking tradition by offering the classic sphere in blown glass, which highlights the bubble surface characteristic of the artisan glassblowing technique. This aesthetic is reminiscent of the appearance of a fossil stone, where air bubbles give the glass a rough, matt appearance, transforming it from a transparent state into a textured material. The combination of transparency and roughness creates captivating plays of light, while the mattifying effect diffuses the light gently. The suspension Bollicosa by Cassina blends harmoniously into a variety of spaces, for example above a dining table.
