Description

The Semi Pendant was designed in 1968 by a creative duo of architecture students: Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Reacting against the “cosy era” that dominated Denmark at that time, the duo wanted to create a lamp made of clear, geometric and sharp lines. The result is a unique and timelessly designed pendant light made of enamelled metal. Semi Pendant, by Gubi, was awarded first prize by the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture. Ideal placed over a dining room table, it is available in several sizes and finishes.
