Designed by Dordoni Studio for Foscarini, the Ronde Etoile pendant light reinterprets the chandelier with rigour and refinement, where the lightness of Venetian glass meets the minimalism of the 1950s and 1960s. Conceived for premium residential interiors and contract projects alike, Ronde Etoile enhances large tables, including those in marble or stone, and makes a strong statement in pairs above generous surfaces. Around a transparent, almost invisible central cylinder in borosilicate glass, slim grey arms support a single crown of satined blown-glass half-cylinders, while mirror-head bulbs aim the light towards the glass for soft, glare-free diffusion. A clean horizontal silhouette, light that is intense yet always soft, 8 dimmable light points and timeless elegance: Ronde Etoile embodies the sober, sophisticated refinement of Foscarini.

Foscarini was founded in 1981 in Venice. Foscarini has been producing lighting and exploring the possibilities and qualities of Murano glass since 1981, most of its design have gone on to become classics. For Foscarini, each project requires a new supplier in order to best meet the customer's requirements. Freedom of production advocated by Foscarini inspired two of the company's designers, Carlo Urbinatti and Alessancro Vecchiato, to use other materials.
