Description
Designed by leading design duo Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, Rituals is a lamp born from a challenge: to translate the lightness of the washi paper of oriental lanterns into a group of glass lamps. Lighting brand Foscarini has collaborated with the masters of Murano to make this challenge a reality. These diffused light pendant lamps consist of a glass diffuser blown by mouth into a mould. The glass is then frosted by hand to give it its precious appearance. Available in three different shapes, these pendant lamps create a subdued, emotionally charged light, alone or as part of a composition.

Ludovica & Roberto PALOMBA
Architects and designers, Ludovica & Roberto Palomba have been working together since 1994. Based in Milan, they are simultaneously involved in interior architecture, industrial design, design management and communication. They graduated in architecture from the University of Rome, and went on to found their own firm, Palomba e Serafini Associated studio, based in Milan. Ludovica & Roberto Palomba put their marketing and artistic skills to work for the biggest brands to meet customer expectations. The complementary nature of the couple means that each of their creations combines boldness with serenity, originality with purity. They work for Cappellini, Driade, Foscarini and Zanotta, with the famous Lama chaise longue, for example.

FOSCARINI
Foscarini was founded in 1981 in Venice. Foscarini has been producing lighting and exploring the possibilities and qualities of Murano glass since 1981, most of its design have gone on to become classics. For Foscarini, each project requires a new supplier in order to best meet the customer's requirements. Freedom of production advocated by Foscarini inspired two of the company's designers, Carlo Urbinatti and Alessancro Vecchiato, to use other materials. This strategy results in a wealth of inspirations, raw materials and technological innovations. Foscarini's concepts, shapes and materials illuminate and transform the offerings and initiatives of international designers
