Pendant Light OS111 BEGONYA Ø50 CARL HANSEN

Inspired by the shapes and rhythms of the plant world, the OS111 Begonya suspension, designed by Øivind Slaatto for Carl Hansen & Søn, translates with poetry the encounter between nature, geometry and light. His elliptical drawing, inspired by the begonia flower, reveals a subtle balance between technical rigor and organic softness, characteristic of the work of the Danish designer. The internal structure in aluminum with a warm golden finish is wrapped in a light and translucent shade that diffuses a soft and homogeneous light. A complex network of cells and lamellae directs the light downwards while creating 360-degree ambient diffusion, limiting glare and enhancing visual comfort. Assembled by hand with great precision, the Begonya demonstrates the care taken in every manufacturing detail. Available in several sizes, it can be installed alone or as a composition to create elegant light scenographies. Through this creation, Øivind Slaatto expresses his vision of lighting where technical performance, harmony and natural sensitivity come together, faithful to the expertise of Carl Hansen & Søn.
