Parentesi is a pendant lamp that was created in 1971 by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu for the famous Flos lighting brand. The lamp moves vertically on a steel cable that is stretched between the ceiling and the floor. It is considered as one of the design classics that have revolutionised light fittings and was awarded the prestigious Compasso d'Oro prize in 1979. With its soft and warm light, Parentesi will add an elegant touch to a living room or create an inviting atmosphere in an entrance hall.
