Description

The Nebra floor lamp showcases the series' signature plissé shade, whose delicate, structured lightness sits in effortless contrast with its matte steel base. Designed by Lukas Bazle for New Works, it strikes a considered balance between form and function.

A gentle sweeping motion is all it takes to tilt the adjustable shade, shifting both the expression of the Nebra floor lamp and the direction of its light. The adjustable pole can be set at any height between 148 and 175 cm, so the light sits comfortably with its surroundings and with whoever is using it.

These thoughtful details take this floor lamp well beyond mere illumination, creating a dynamic interplay of form and function. Fitted with a dimmable 2700 K LED source, the Nebra floor lamp by New Works casts a warm, enveloping glow.

NEW WORKS

New Works was founded by Nikolaj Meier and Knut Bendik Humlevik with the desire to create a design house where design comes to life with care and intention, and where there is space for creative experimentation—a place for new works. With a small, dedicated team, they set out to curate a collection of elevated yet accessible living objects. Through this lens, they shape the ever-evolving story of New Works. New Works offers a collection positioned at the intersection of old and new. Light and dark. Design and art. The brand’s work pays homage to Scandinavia's strong history of craftsmanship and materiality while challenging today’s contemporary forms.
