Seductive and welcoming, the Mbrace series by DEDON takes an unconventional approach to furnishing outdoor spaces. For this award-winning collection, Sebastian Herkner wanted to combine multicoloured fibres with the rich, warm texture of teak and create outdoor furniture that is also very comfortable without cushions. Available in several shades, this rich series includes different types of armchairs - high back, low back, rocking - and a footrest. In the garden or on a terrace, Mbrace de Dedon calls for relaxation. The price does not include the decorative cushions (only the seat cushion).

Sebastian HERKNER

Born in Germany in 1981, Sebastian Herkner studied Product Design at the University of Arts and Design in Offenbach, graduating in 2007. He founded his own eponymous studio in 2006, also in the same city, specialising in object and furniture design. Following an internship at Stella McCartney during his studies, he developed a real sensitivity to colours, materials and textures. "There is a sensibility and identity to my work that emphasises function, material and detail." Sebastian Herkner also works on interior architecture projects and museum exhibitions. His many collaborations testify to his talent, including ClassiCon with the famous Bell table, Moroso, Pulpo, Cappellini, Gubi, And Tradition, La Chance, Zanotta and Thonet. His curiosity for different cultures is reflected in his creations. He combines traditional craftsmanship with new technologies to achieve a certain balance. Winner of numerous awards, he has been named "Designer of the Year" by the Maison & Objet show in 2019.

Bobby Dekeyser founded Dedon in 1990. The idea is to create top-of-the-range woven furniture using a sophisticated, aesthetically refined and weather-resistant synthetic fibre, which is revolutionising the exterior furniture market.  Dedon defends his vision: outdoor spaces can and should be furnished with the same attention and luxury as interior spaces. Quality is a recurring theme at DEDON: the quality of its pieces, the quality of its fibres, the quality of its weaves...
