Description
Designed by the designer Inga Sempé, the Lampyre table lamp is composed of two pieces of opaline glass: a cylindrical base and a conical shade, diffusing a soft and soothing light over the entire height. A dimmer switch allows you to switch from bright to soft ambient lighting. Produced by Wästberg, Lampyre is available in two sizes. The larger version is ideal for softly illuminating any type of space. The smaller model fits very well on a shelf or - as in Sweden - near a window, providing welcoming lighting visible both inside and outside.

Inga SEMPE
Born in Paris, Inga Sempé graduated from Ensci (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle) in 1993. In 2000, she became a resident at the Villa Medicis (Académie de France) in Rome. Inga Sempé started out as a freelance designer, working in the early years with Italian brands such as Cappellini and Edra, before moving on to projects with French, American and Scandinavian companies such as Luce Plan, Moustache (with its famous Vapeur luminaires) and Baccarat. She designs furniture and small everyday objects, and seems to have a particular interest in lighting, with the PO 0202 floor lamp in particular. An exhibition devoted to him was held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 2003.

WASTBERG
Wästberg is a Swedish brand that manufactures lighting designed to be functional and flexible in order to provide simple lighting solutions adapted to residential spaces and offices. Launched in 2008 by Magnus Wästberg, Wästberg lamps have already received twenty international awards for their outstanding design, and are now sold worldwide. Wästberg creates lights that are adapted to everyone's needs: a pendant light with a soft glow for the dining room, and a desk lamp that gives off brighter light. Wästberg combines know-how and quality to add an elegant touch into your interior.
