Designed for smaller outdoor spaces or as versatile garden seating, the Lagrasse collection by Vipp offers sociable seating arrangements, regardless of the size of the outdoor area. For added comfort, the Lagrasse chair can be paired with a set of comfortable cushions upholstered in a durable woven outdoor fabric, available as an optional purchase. Velcro straps ensure a secure attachment to the frame for a stable and comfortable seating arrangement. Wrapped around the backrest and armrests, a woven cord reflects the airy expression that underpins the design ethos of the Lagrasse collection by Vipp. Stackable, the design of the Lagrasse chair allows for easy storage, accommodating up to four chairs.

The story of Vipp began in 1939, in the small Danish town of Randers, when Marie asked her husband Holger Nielsen to create a trash bin for her new hair salon. Holger, a skilled craftsman with a keen sense of aesthetics, wanted to impress his wife and thus put all his talent into creating a pedal bin that was both functional and elegant. The bin, which he named Vipp, was never intended to be sold. However, some of Marie's clients were so impressed by its functionality that they ordered it for their husbands' medical offices and dental clinics.
