Edited by And Tradition, the In Between table was designed to accompany the chair of the same name. Designed by Sami Kallio, this dining table reinterprets certain aspects of the chair in terms of its form and the techniques employed. The solid oak used is a hardy and reliable wood in the Scandinavian tradition. Like the chair, the In Between table is a showcase for the designer's expertise and hand-crafted woodwork. Producing the chair requires modern industrial processes and manual interventions, creating a harmony between innovation and tradition. Thanks to its round shape and two available diameters, in Between by And Tradition blends easily into interiors and brings a dynamic touch to the room it's in.

Sami KALLIO
Sami Kallio, born in 1975 in Helsinki, Finland, grew up in Sweden, where he honed his skills in traditional wood crafts such as compression moulding and woodturning. He graduated from the Göteborg School of Design and Crafts in 2005.An award-winning designer with a studio based in Gothenburg, Sami Kallio designs furniture and interiors that translate classic forms into contemporary expressions with an industrial aesthetic that resonates with a modern-minded audience.Both man and machine play a part in many of Kallio's creations. The fusion of modern industrial manufacturing methods with traditional techniques. The result is a refreshing balance between past and present. Sami Kallio has taken part in a number of exhibitions, and the furniture collection 'The Finnish Blood In Me', which was presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2011, caused quite a stir.

And Tradition is a Danish brand founded in 2010 by Martin Kornbek Hansen. The brand offers furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1930s to the present day. And Tradition designs practical pieces for everyday use. And Tradition adapts this heritage to contemporary design, redefining and reinventing materials and shapes, while respecting nature, which provides the essential raw materials. The company does not hesitate to reissue classics, such as the lighting designs of Verner Panton, including the collection of Flowerpot Table Lamps and Flowerpot Pendants.
