Description
The Gravity collection of luminaires, designed by Space Copenhagen for Gubi, plays on the aesthetic contrast between strength and fragility. Gravity lamps take their name from the balance between the weight of the cylindrical base and the aerial lampshade, which merge beautifully into a sculptural whole. Combining understated elegance with obvious functionality, the Gravity XL floor lamp brings subtle ambient lighting to any room in the house. Published by Gubi, it's available in two sizes and a range of finishes to suit you and your interior.

SPACE COPENHAGEN
Space Copenhagen is a Danish multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2005 by Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. They work at the crossroads of disciplines, from furniture and lighting to art installations, interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants around the world, and art direction. Their ambition is to blaze new trails by balancing opposites: classic and modern, industrial and organic, light and shade, duality and contrast. They call their approach Poetic Modernism. The principles of functionality, slow design and the study of human behaviour guide their work. The result is quality and longevity. Their various collaborations with Fredericia, AndTradition, Gubi and Mater demonstrate their ability to break with codes and constantly renew themselves. The Swoon armchair is one of their iconic creations. The use of soft colours and natural materials such as wood, stone, leather and brass develop a patina over time and lend a certain charm to objects.

GUBI
Created by Lisbeth and Olsen Gubi, the brand Gubi is a Danish company that has been re-editing some of the greatest design classics since 1967. Based in the docks of Copenhagen, the Gubi headquarters spans 2000 square meters in a former tobacco factory, now renovated into a vast modern loft-style showroom. One of the iconic pieces of the Gubi brand is the Pacha armchair. This armchair by Pierre Paulin embodies the innovative spirit and timeless elegance of Gubi. The Gubi chairs are renowned for their innovative design and exceptional comfort, seamlessly blending contemporary aesthetics with functionality. These iconic pieces evoke emotions and tell meaningful stories, making them both timeless and enduring.
