Description
The Gio LN15 suspension by Luca Nichetto for &Tradition pays homage to Venetian craftsmanship with a modern and sculptural approach. Inspired by Gio Ponti, it combines tradition and contemporary design, merging the heritage of Murano blown glass with a minimalist silhouette in turned aluminum. With its vibrant colors – signal green and deep blu or vermilion and ecru – the Gio LN15 suspension evokes Ponti’s innovation, who modernized Murano chandeliers by simplifying their forms and introducing bold color contrasts. Its conical structure with multiple stacked levels reflects this modernity while preserving the elegance of traditional craftsmanship. Designed to emit soft, focused light through an opening at the top of the cone, the Gio LN15 suspension by Luca Nichetto for &Tradition brightens both large spaces and more intimate settings. Available in two sizes, it adds a touch of sophistication to any interior while maintaining a strong sculptural presence, even when turned off.

Luca NICHETTO
Luca Nichetto studied industrial design at Iuav University in Venice, graduating in 1998. He then became a product designer and consultant for the famous lighting company Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his own design agency in Venice, Nichetto & Partners, before moving to Stockholm, Sweden, to open a second agency. He currently lives and works there. His work has won numerous international awards. His innovative side stands out, as does the variety of fields he explores, from the design of new products to interior design and architecture projects. Luca Nichetto pays great attention to detail and innovation in his designs. "Functionality and emotion are essential if an object is to be complete," he says. Since the start of his career, he has worked with a host of partners, including AndTradition, Cassina, Coedition, La Chance, Moroso, Kristalia and Petite Friture. His iconic pieces also include the You sofa.
