For centuries, paper lanterns have been everywhere in Asia, in the wealthiest as well as more modest homes, where their various shapes, sizes and colours hold different meanings. Distancing himself from any cultural constraints, Jaime Hayon has created a collection of white lanterns with a variety of different shapes. In reinventing this age-old object, he has retained the magic of these lanterns, while giving them a modern and playful touch.
