Designed around the notions of proportion and scale, the Journey SHY4 floor lamp transposes the iconic design of the collection in an enlarged version. Designed by the designer Signe Hytte and edited by &Tradition, this luminaire combines the characteristic combination of a sphere and a rectangular base in a composition that is both balanced and expressive. Composed of a steel base and a spherical opal glass lampshade, the Journey SHY4 floor lamp plays on a subtle contrast between solidity and lightness. Once lit, the sphere diffuses a soft and homogeneous light, evoking the soothing presence of a full moon in space. Versatile in nature, the Journey SHY4 can be positioned vertically or tilted, offering different readings of the luminaire according to the desired arrangement. The materials used, glass and steel, are highly recyclable, part of a more responsible approach to production.
