Designed by Tove Kindt-Larsen in 1936, Grace is an elegant, organic and harmonious armchair featuring a natural and sustainable material: rattan. Inspired by the gentle curves of the pebbles and driftwood she collected on the beaches of northern Denmark, architect and designer Tove Kindt-Larsen has come up with a graceful new take on the rattan armchair. With its soft curves and intricate loops, the Grace rattan frame supports a generous upholstered seat and wraps around a bouncy removable back cushion. The result is an armchair that is comfortable, tactile and visually light, with rattan providing its natural strength and durability. Published by Gubi, the Grace armchair brings a touch of the outdoors indoors, whether at home or in a communal environment such as a hotel.
