Easy chair GALEOTTA Tocco 32015 ZANOTTA

Convertible, welcoming and dynamic, the Galeotta armchair features fold-down cushions that transform the armchair into a chaise-longue or daybed. It is made entirely of variable-density polyurethane foam and has no internal structure or mechanism. Published by Zanotta, the Galeotta armchair consists of three geometric blocks with an irregular profile to create three different configurations. The removable outer cover holds the three elements together and allows them to fold down. Galeotta is an informal, versatile armchair that adapts to different comfort and space requirements, ideal both at home and in contract spaces.  Galeotta perfectly embodies the principle of simple, functional design. Designed by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi in 1968, it represents an innovative design that has contributed to a profound change in lifestyles, revolutionising the concept of the traditional armchair and introducing new ways of sitting and enjoying the interior. In collaboration with designer Paolo Lomazzi, Zanotta reissues this armchair, adapting it with new materials and different dimensions.
