With its low wooden frame and rope seat that evokes the nautical world, the MR01 Initial armchair by Gubi just begs to be taken outdoors. The MR01 Initial outdoor armchair is made from FSC®-certified iroko. This wood proved perfectly suited to Mathias Rasmussen's design, retaining the chair's strong silhouette as it transitions outwards and helping to emphasise its sculptural quality. What's more, the MR01 Initial outdoor chair is made without using a single screw. To withstand life outdoors, this Gubi outdoor armchair features a bespoke rope made from high-performance polyester. This material is waterproof, making it perfect for poolside, and UV-resistant, so it won't degrade over long days in the sun.
