Designed by Andreas Engesvik and Daniel Rybakken for the Hay brand, the Arbour Club armchair follows the principle that design should follow construction. It is assembled from separately produced components for optimum comfort and high quality. Developed with the aim of offering a compact and sustainable armchair, Arbour Club is produced from FSC-certified wood with a water-based varnish. The seat and backrest have been designed with carefully balanced proportions, while the structure creates a strong yet elegant profile with an architectural quality. With an obvious, streamlined design, the Arbour armchair fuses a typically Scandinavian aesthetic with high comfort and durability.
