Together with Doze, the Anderssen & Voll studio has created a modern armchair, combining the ideas of Scandinavian design with the design of the 1970s. Released by Muuto, the Doze armchair has a contemporary expression thanks to its vibrant lines and the inclination of its backrest and armrests. The slim steel legs give the armchair a light look that emphasises the eclectic silhouette of its design. An excellent complement, the Ottoman echoes the contemporary lines of Muuto's chair. Available in a wide range of finishes, the customisation of the Doze chair's upholstery makes it adaptable to any type of residential or professional space.
Founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design studio based in Oslo. The duo, who were previously partners in the Norway Says group, work in a variety of design fields but concentrate on domestic objects. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received international awards for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. In their view, a good product builds on and extends tradition while simultaneously breaking with the rules of that tradition. Their iconic creations include the Outline seating series, the Oslo lounge chair, the Elephant table and the unique Ildhane candlestick. Their many collaborations with famous publishers such as Lapalma, Muuto, Hay and AndTraditon have contributed to their reputation.
