It’s a way of living and seeing the world.” Indeed, DCW Editions quickly gained recognition for its careful reissue of the Lampe Gras, an iconic lamp created in 1921 by Bernard-Albon Gras. It marked the beginning of 20th-century lighting and was the first articulated lamp in history. However, nostalgia is not the driving force behind DCW éditions. “Only beauty and justice are eternal,” DCW Editions produces timeless objects that resist fleeting trends. Today, DCW Editions holds the official and exclusive rights to reissue several collections of iconic lighting designs.

One of these is the Here Comes the Sun lamp, a suspension light that transforms magically when lit. Another is Mantis, created in 1951 by Bernard Schottlander. DCW Editions continually reinvents itself with creations such as In the Tube, specially designed by world-renowned architect Dominique Perrault and his partner Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost, and the exquisite lighting designs of French artist Eric de Dormaël. DCW products seem to defy gravity. The lighting fixtures exude rare elegance, evoking a sense of lightness through their industrial, minimalist, and contemporary design.
