These modular storage elements, referred to as Componibili, created by Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1968, have been designed to meet various usage requirements and find their place in every room of the house: the bathroom, the bedroom, the kitchen or the living room. Well thought-out, the modular elements Componibili respond to an expectation of legitimate storage and adapt to all uses. The main idea is the elementary but solid overlay of the different Componibili blocks which, by simple interlocking, make up practical storage furniture. This molded plastic cylinder, with sober and functional lines, symbolizes the break that took place in design during the 1960s. Today, the collection is enriched with the Componibili New Big, a revisited version with more generous dimensions, available with 2 or 3 drawers. More spacious while maintaining the same modularity, it offers increased storage volume and fits easily into any room in the house. The Componibili New Big retains the democratic, accessible and bold spirit of the original model, always responding to the needs of a modern society in search of practicality and design. Iconic object of Kartell, Componibili< has made an impression since its entry at the Milan Furniture Fair.
