Description

Carl Hansen and Hans J. Wegner introduced the CH30 chair in 1954, whose harmonious design embodies the designer's ongoing journey to conceive the perfect chair. The chaise CH30 showcases Wegner's signature style: its organic design and exceptional craftsmanship are reflected in sophisticated details such as the caps on the curved oval backrest, which aligns with the back legs for ultimate comfort. In combination with the wide moulded seat and wide pressed upholstery, CH30 is a chair with a high level of comfort and functionality. Because this comfortable chair can be tucked under a table, it takes up very little space, making it ideal for any modern setting. After being out of production for a number of years, the chair was recreated in close collaboration with Hans J. Wegner's design studio. The elegant chaise CH30 is produced to its original working design - two extra centimetres have been added in height to adapt to modern standards.
