Designed by Marcio Kogan for Minotti, the pre-owned Brasilia armchair stands out for its precise, contemporary, and minimalist style inspired by Brazilian modernism. Through this armchair, Minotti highlights the cultural depth of its products by reinterpreting their lines, volumes, and proportions, and by using materials in an original way. The volumes and proportions, defined by strongly architectural lines, are a distinctive feature of Marcio Kogan’s universe, reflected in both his interiors and his architectural works. Enclosed within a square-shaped frame in Dark Brown stained Santos rosewood sourced from responsibly managed forests, the seating elements of the Brasilia feature a regular arrangement of highly comfortable cushions that subtly invite relaxation. Light in appearance, they rest on glossy Brandy-finished metal feet, creating a continuous interplay of materials—wood, metal, fabric, and leather—that gives the piece a look that is both warm and inviting.
