Description

The Billex is much more than a simple stool: it’s a statement piece of circular design. Created by the French brand Maximum, it is made from out-of-circulation banknotes, shredded and supplied by the Banque de France. This unexpected material, made of cotton and heat-sensitive polymers, is hot-compressed to form a durable, elegant, and 100% recycled object — with no added resin. Its minimalist design is based on a single-block seat mounted on four steel brackets, fastened with eight exposed screws. Practical and functional, the Billex is stackable up to six units, making it perfect for flexible spaces. Entirely made in France, this stool reflects local craftsmanship and a strong commitment to upcycling. It comes with a 10-year warranty and is offered at an affordable price.
