Designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930, the Bestlite BL1 table lamp by Gubi is a globally coveted design with strong Bauhaus references. Winston Churchill personally chose the Bestlite BL1 table lamp for his office. This is the big breakthrough for Bestlite, which has made it a design classic today. Its minimalist and distinctive design makes it the ideal companion for any home office, workspace, creative corner or even for lighting your night table or living room. The Bestlite design remains close to its industrial roots and true to its original design. This contemporary classic by Gubi is part of the permanent collections of London's Victoria & Albert Museum and Design Museum.
