Description
Designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930, Gubi's Bestlite BL1 table lamp is an internationally-coveted design with strong Bauhaus references. Winston Churchill personally chose the Bestlite BL1 table lamp for his desk. It was the great breakthrough of the Bestlite that made it a design classic today. Its minimalist and distinctive design makes it the ideal companion for any home office, workspace, creative corner or even for lighting your night table or living room. The Bestlite design remains close to its industrial roots and true to its original design. This contemporary classic by Gubi is part of the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Design Museum in London.
